I am pleased to announce TWO calls for submissions for the Experimental Analysis of Human Behavior Special Interest Group Annual Student Research Competition!
Undergraduate and graduate students who have completed empirical or theoretical efforts in the experimental analysis of human behavior are invited to submit their work.
Graduate Student Paper Competition: The deadline for submissions is January 15, 2018. All materials must be submitted via email to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Submissions will be sent to at least two reviewers who have expertise in the topic area of the student paper (many of the reviewers serve on the editorial boards of top behavioral journals), and all student authors receive their reviews, regardless of award status. This is an excellent opportunity for talented students to receive early peer-review experience. Past participants and their faculty sponsors have said they appreciated the quality of the reviews they received and were able to use these reviews to further increase the quality of their manuscripts prior to submission to peer-reviewed journals. The winner will present his or her work at the meeting of the EAHB Special Interest Group at ABAI’s 2018 conference, publish an abstract of the paper in the EAHB-SIG Bulletin (online at http://www.eahb.org), receive ABAI student conference registration (student member), and will be presented with a handsome commemorative award presented at the SIG Business Meeting.
